...various sports stuff...I definately could run and jump for NYU's track team, so I'm thinking that might give me an edge, but let me know what you think!!

Thanks!

Yeah, you said it yourself. Just bring those SATs up and you should have a great chance at NYU.

Thanks for the reply! What do you think I will need to get the SAT scores up to?

i dont think you should apply to nyu, it's not even that good of a school unless you're going to major in art or film. you have a really good chance though but nyu has no grantees and i advise you to be president of one of your ec.

Thanks for the advice, but I'm pretty sure I'm going to apply! But I appreciate your help!

Anyone else? Advice would be really helpful! Thanks!

Stern would be very hard with your SATs, but they might offer you GSP to Stern. The biggest problem with NYU is if you need financial aid. For that you need to be at the top of their pool.

Thanks for your reply! Will you explain GSP? I'm not too familiar with it. And also NYU claims that they do not take financial status into consideration. Is it true that they really do look? But it shouldn't be too much of a problem anyway; while I'm not extremely wealthy my family is upper middle class.

I'd really appreciate some more feedback! Thanks!

Anyone else?

i believe the average NYU SAT is 1250-ish so you should aim around 1250-1300.

easy match, just have those SATs a bit more up. =)

i'm jealous...i'll be applying for Stern too, but my 95 avg leaves me between 17-19%..even with hardest workload.

frooti.

Thanks for the SAT info epidemic!

Shubhsinghi6700, thanks for the reply! I'm sure that you make up for your average in other areas, and 95 is certainly not low! Hopefully if everything works out we will be classmates!! Haha

Thanks again guys!

More help is greatly appreciated!

Anyone????

Oh and also I think I will be applying ED, so will that give me a better chance?

bump....
