Nyu

is there even a chance of getting into NYU with an SAT score of 1890? (710 math, 610 english, 570 reading)

You should apply. You may have a chance.

thanks, anyone else have an opinion?

not really unless you are at the top of your class and excel at everything else so your SATs will seem insignificant. 2000+ will be better.

i have a 3.88 gpa, 25th in a class of 320. My recommendation is really good

I would say 35% chance. But please apply! Don't listen to people on the internet!

lol thanks, i will. and ill be crossing my fingers

35% chance...? Lol, he just got that number out of no where...you have a chance...

sweet, thanks. I hope youre right.

Yep. A 1900 is about a bit less than average for NYU, but you could still make it if you have decent GPA and took rigorous courses with good results

thanks for the support, my gpa was earlier in this thread and im enrolled in a Dual Enrollment program. I have a 3.73 college gpa and im taking higher level courses

anyone else?

APPLY, don't let the snooty CC kids bring you down! :)

lol right on bretjohnson90!

haha, seriously!

do any of u know when the absolute last time we can take the SATs for NYU? on their website it just says that if taking it in january the scores might not come in fast enough. Does that mean we can still take it then?

I hope you know that I pulled the 35% out of nowhere. You do have a chance though.

cool, thanks for the support. I was so devastated when I found out i got an 1890. but hopefully it works out

have similar sat 1800, 3.8 ish gpa, 14/430 rank...

same chance? as above said with the 35%?

azn sensasion..my czn got an 1100 and got in.with similar gpa/class rank
