<p>Do you think I have a chance of getting into NYU?</p>

<p>SAT: 1990 (610) Math (630) Writing (750) Critical Reading</p>

<p>G.P.A 3.28/4 (I know its low)</p>

<p>I have good EC's and volunteer work...I know thats vauge but theres too many of them and I don't feel like typing them all out..just assume their good not amazing I didnt cure cancer or anything but just good</p>

<p>Great Rec's from not only teachers but also public officials</p>

<p>Wrote an excellent essay</p>

<p>Took all AP and Honors Classes throughout high school</p>

<p>Took a summer course at Fordham University last year, earned 3 credits from that</p>

<p>My sister goes there...do I have any shot</p>

<p>Well, if your sister goes there, it will help you out a lot, and also if you want to go there really badly, you should try to apply Early Decision if you can afford it. I think you have a fair shot. The GPA as your know will hurt you.</p>

<p>I think you have a shot to get in but perhaps working on that SAT score a little so it bumps into around 2050 or above would increase your chances greatly. And try for Early Decision has mentioned above but only if you can afford it and that is your dream school and no other school would substitute NYU.</p>
