Colleges I am applying tooo are ( yes I know there are a lot of schools on this list but I cant
seem to narrow it down. Feel free to point out colleges
that you would recommend not applying to)

University of Chicago
Cornell University
NYU Stern
USC
John Hopkins University (legacy)
UC Berkeley
UC Los Angeles
UC San Diego

I will apply as a Econ major to all of the schools above other than UCSD where I will apply for neuroscience

I am also applying to UC irvine UC davis but I am hoping that I am an "shoo in" for those two so I have not put the on the list for you to chance. However, if you feel as if I need more safeties or that Irvine and Davis are not safeties PLEASE let me know.

once again, any suggestions are welcome!!

thanks,
p.t

I looks really good your EC’s, sports etc but SAT for the schools you want might be a little too average but i should not say anything i got the same thing

chance me back please

bummppp!!!

buuuuuuuuuuump

i’m not good at chancing so this might be disappointing but your stuff looks pretty impressive. Something you might want to consider when applying to schools is making sure that the schools you’re applying to have not only great economics programs, but also great neuroscience programs if that is what you are looking into. I live in New York, so I know that if you go to school here in the city then you can not only go to a great school like NYU stern, but you can also get an internship at Mt. Sinai or Lennox Hill hospital over the summer which would be really helpful for med school applications

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/899713-chance-me-u-r.html</a></p>

Davis + irvine would be safetys for you
UCSD probably would be close to a safety as well with your stats
UCLA- low match/safety- combination of good stats/good school should win out
UCB high match- see above, but berkely is a bit more competitive than UCLA-either way great shot at it
USC-match- you should get in here too
NYU- low match/almost safety-there a numbers school, and you have the numbers
Cornell-High match/low reach-youll want to show all around talent here- your numbers are great, but it is very selective- you stand a better chance here than most
UChicago- high match- see Cornell
JHU- match because of legacy- hard school that keeps becoming more selective- you have competitive numbers, and legacy will help a lot- you should be in

Really impressive profile all around- really the only tough schools for you to get in are the ones that are tough for eveyone -JHU, UCB, Chicago, Cornell

Chance back?
http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/889642-chance-me-rice-duke-jhu-ect-will-chance-back.html</a></p>

You should make most of the UC’s, aside from Berkeley, with relative ease. Berkeley is still a match, but as close to the ceiling as you can get. I dont know how well being a legacy affect admissions into JH, but it can’t hurt. Chicago and Cornell are probably low reaches for you. Another try on the SAT wouldn’t hurt either, it should be noted that Chicago doesnt consider the writing section and puts heavy emphasis on essays.

Chance me back? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/898730-chances-duke-penn-cornell.html</a></p>

University of Chicago - good shot, but extremely selective
Cornell University - good shot, but it’s an ivy so no one knows
NYU Stern - in
USC - in
John Hopkins University (legacy) - better shot than most
UC Berkeley - good shot as others mentioned, but unpredictable
UC Los Angeles - in
UC San Diego -in
