Just wondering which of these two O Chem professors would you recommend, Perrin or Albizati? What can you tell me about these professors? Any info on them would be helpful.

Check ratemyprofessors.com or the CAPE evaluations. I should warn you, though, that if any of the other CAPE evaluators are like me, they probably filled in random bubbles so they could leave early.

I already have looked at ratemyprof and CAPE reviews but I’m wondering if any of you have had direct experience with one of these professors

both are really good but i like albizati’s lecturing more

albizati gives out a lot of A’s… Also, he likes to play bball at the muir courts on certain days. if you like to play bball at muir, ydou have a good chance of playing bball w/ him. he’ll school you~ oh well, good rec eventually =]

i hated albizati =X but thats just me

Alright… Sorry to leach off this thread but since the topic is about OChem teachers, what’s the deal with WHitesell?? Seems like no one likes that professor. Any reasons why?

I don’t usually like resorting to ratemyprof since that tends to be the place where the kids who got C’s go to rant about the professor. At least that’s what it seems.

Whitesell’s reputation is that of a fairly easy teacher, but since you learn less compared to the other classes, it’ll come around to bite you in the end.

It’s not to say that every one of Whitesell’s students is a shoddy student – he just doesn’t ask that much of his class, so there’s really no motivation to do the extra work that sets you apart from everyone else.
