OK I'm not even going to major in something that has to do with science but I was always curious to the rigor of this class. From all the stories i here it is from people who are not even in the class. Can someone shed light on this class?

i took three quarters of ochem lecture, three of ochem lab, and three graduate-level seminars. the 140 series isn’t that bad as long as you keep on top of the material – in other words, it requires steady commitment for the duration of the quarter.

In your opinion, who’s the best ochem prof at UCSD? I’m signed up for Albizati for CHEM 140A during the summer.

Albizati, Ternanky, Tor.

All extremely talented and effective lecturers, but with very unique personalities. If we could clone those three and make 'em teach all the ochem lectures, nobody would ever complain again.

^I’m going to go ahead and 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th what Astrina said

I had Gianneschi for 140A and I thought he was great.

I thought Albizati was bland as a lecturer, extremely cool as a person.
