Oakbrook Walk/Overflow Housing

So apparently I was housed in this "on campus" housing because UF wants to fill 100% of its dorms; is anyone else in the same situation?

I am asking because despite the nice features of living in apartment, I would much rather live in a traditional dorm (Jennings, Broward, Rawlings, etc.) Is anyone on here interested in swapping or perhaps dorming together? I am an FOS scholar and econ major by the way. Also, I am very tidy, athletic, and laid back.

Here is the website for the complex if you want to check it out: Oakbrook Walk

If you're interested message me and I'll send you my facebook link/contact info.

It would be nice to meet fellow CC members who are housed in the same development. My preview is July 9-10 in case anyone wants to meet up. Let me know!

Oakbrook Walk looks nice, but its on the wrong side of campus for freshman.

You probably would want to be near mid-town on the north side of campus. The Shands area has several hospitals, and sometimes people walking around near hospitals are not exactly college folks.

As a mom, I would be concerned about this location.

Have fun at preview.
