Obama has no chance

Does anyone actually think that this guy has a chance? He's obviously going to get squashed by Hillary.

Its sad too, because I honestly think that Hillary is just getting this attention because of her husband. Obama isn't good either. I hate him actually. But I think the reason hes losing (because someone is married to an ex-president) is just disgusting. What do you guys think?

He's losing?

I think the primaries are still like a year away :p

If Hillary is elected, the past 4 presidents will have been Bush, Clinton, Bush, Clinton......

Anyway, thats besides the point. If I could vote, and if Hillary were elected to represent the democratic party, I would vote for who ever wins the republican primary..I said that if Bush were re-elected I would move, but this time I think I might really mean it. Having Hillary as president would be worse in my opinion than Bush..

Yeah, and as CG said, its a far way away from now..

I don't think Hillary Clinton should be the 1st woman president. It's kind of a big honor in history and it should go to someone who accomplished it without the help/connections of her husband.

Remember when everyone was raving about Howard Dean? Oops, what happened to that?
Race is still far away my friends ;)

LOL, I still have the Dean scream parodies stuck in my head.

Yeaghhhhhhhh!!!!!

pfffft.

Dean 4 lyfe.

The latest poll has Obama beating all the Republicans by the widest margins of any potential Democratic nominee: http://www.dailykos.com/story/2007/4/11/224349/710

Of course, with the Howard Dean disaster in recent memory, being a popular front-runner early on is nothing. But still, give Obama a chance.

Are you kidding me? All of political gain is based on help and connections from other people. is it fair? of course not, but that's how its been.

wow your so-called poll is false. Don't trust anyone but Gallup. That poll probably came from some left wing paper.

Actually, I take that back. It looks like the poll was only conducted in Los Angeles. That should explain the huge left leaning numbers

I thought recent polls showed Hillary gaining ground (both on the democratic ticket, and overall)

Yeah, no. Hillary definitely won't squash Obama. That would be the day america died.

Oh really?

I figure once Obama is actually forced to take a stance on a lot of issues, we'll have a better idea of what he stands for and the 'love affair' with Obama will pass.

"Are you kidding me? All of political gain is based on help and connections from other people. is it fair? of course not, but that's how its been."

True. But it's on a whole nother level when you are bound in a life partnership with an ex-president. Give-and-take political gain probably doesn't apply in a marriage. Anyone who Bill had a connection with, Hillary will have a connection with. If you ask me, Hillary's presidency will just be an extention of Bill's term.

Yea, but that's the same with with the Bush's, and with the Adams. It's not like this is some brand new political strategy implemented solely so she would win the presidency. That's life.

He will win the nom and the general

I see nothing wrong with Hillary being president. She has the most experience compared to Obama. I think a winning ticket would be Hillary for president and Obama for vice president.

I totally agree with Asmaj.

Uh, the only thing is that Hillary is radically left. She reminds me of Nancy Pelosi (both politically and physically--both are the ugliest bi...) Which means she might lose a lot of the conserv Dems' plus the regular Repubs' vote.

Hilary's husband doesn't even like her: he cheated on her. So why should anyone vote for her? We'd probably just want to cheat on her too.
