You’re such a funny fellow, aren’t you? :D

But come on, stick to the point.

If you really thought it was possible for him to do all that then I feel sorry for you.

If you’re going to hate on Obama, why not do it for things that are actually real?
[PolitiFact | The Obameter: Tracking Barack Obama’s Campaign Promises](Tracking politicians' promises | PolitiFact)

People should know that politicians can’t promise everything that they do. But it’s just idiocy when someone like Obama pulls a complete 180 on his promises and heads the other direction.

Read before you post. I’ve stated that everything in the video is factual information. And I’m not arguing about how politicians like him don’t fulfill their promises. I’m arguing about how they do the complete opposite of what they say they’re going to do. EG, take the troops out of Iraq. Instead of doing that, he’s going to keep them there AND send some more over to Afghanistan. Additionally, everything in the video HAS FOOTAGE, TEXT, PICTURES, etc. Not just word of mouth which may lead you to believe that this is all just conspiracy ********. Everything in the video is backed up with real evidence, such as videos of press conferences.

If you have nothing to argue about, then don’t.

Obama actually said that he was going to pursue a more aggressive policy in Afghanistan, and he is taking the troops out of Iraq, so I’m not sure weird revisionist history you’re trying to peddle.

Here is a story from over a year ago during the campaign.
[Obama: Now Is The Time For Iraq Withdrawal - Face The Nation - CBS News](http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2008/07/20/ftn/main4275864.shtml)

“There’s starting to be a broad consensus that it’s time for us to withdraw some of our combat troops out of Iraq, deploy them here in Afghanistan. And I think we have to seize that opportunity. Now’s the time for us to do it.”

Except again you didn’t read what I said.

“He promised in his campaign to take the troops out of Iraq, but no. He delayed that until 16 months, then 24. Now he’s saying that he’s just going to move the troops into Afghanistan.”

He’s delaying the action of moving or taking out the troops. And come on. If you were a family member of one of the people fighting over there in Iraq, would it make a difference if your loved one was taken out of Iraq and moved over to another country? It’s basically the same thing!

Dude… you’re resorting to blatant emotional appeals now. Obama said he was going to move troops from Iraq to Afghanistan and he’s doing it. You lose.

and FYI I am related to people who are serving in the military.

It is THE PEOPLE of the United States who wanted our troops to be taken out of Iraq. They figure that there is no reason for our troops to be there or anywhere near there, and that our troops should be RETURNING HOME. But no. They’re just moving to a similar location.

Obama SHOULD be taking our troops out of the Middle East. What is the purpose of having our troops there, anyway? To stabilize the area? We have no right to be there. Who do we think we are, the world police?

ANYWAY… this is all beside the point. I’m not talking specifically about this instance. I’m talking about on a broad scale, Obama has been lying. He has been lying about his involvement in the CFR, NAU, etc, etc.

The people elected Obama after he promised during his campaign that he would put more troops in Afghanistan. To do anything else would be to deny his mandate.

Ahahah. He didn’t say that during his campaign… He didn’t say ANYTHING OF THE LIKE in any of his press conferences, one-on-one talks, website, etc. I only recall him saying that our troops were going to be withdrawn from Iraq. And come on, be serious. WHY IN THE WORLD would the people of country agree with just moving our troops and putting more troops into Afghanistan?

Article I posed was from July '08… that was right smack in the middle of the campaign. I remember when he said it, probably trying to win over conservatives.

movie is by conspiracy nutcase alex jones

You don’t get what I’m saying, though.

Did Obama tell the people that he would be moving troops to Afghanistan in his campaign rallies or press conferences? No. And where do most voters get their information from? BBC or CNN articles? Or press conferences that they see on TV?

Ok Topdog let’s say the video is right. What are you going to do about it?

Knew it! I suppose it also reveals that Obama is a Lizard-Jew.

Look at what I’m doing now? Spreading awareness?

Come on. Think about what you’re saying before you post.

OK, dude. SEPTEMBER 2008.
ONE YEAR AGO.

[Bush’s Overseas Policies Begin Resembling Obama’s - washingtonpost.com](<a href=“Invalid session”>Invalid session)

EDIT:
http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,293187,00.html

AUGUST 2007, OVER TWO YEARS AGO people have already known of his policies on moving troops to Afghanistan.
This is NOTHING NEW.

Obama has LONG advocated for moving troops to Afghanistan.

" Obama said he was “glad that the president is moving in the direction of the policy that I have advocated for years.”"

Do you think news channels on TV will just ignore that?
NO. I have seen it all over TV. What the heck are you watching? You are the one that is misinformed, to think that these policies have JUST come up.

Ahaha. Look at the broad view. Do a lot of our voters look at stuff like that? No. And even if they did, that’s not what I’m trying to hint at. I’m just asking why Obama couldn’t mention his plans to go to Afghanistan in any of his political rallies or on his website. To the lot of people who DON’T HAVE TV, DON’T HAVE THE INTERNET, did they hear about Obama’s plans to go to move the troops to Afghanistan?

Can we stick to the main thread here, though? We’re going off on a bit of a tangent. If you want to argue about this, maybe we can in another thread.

haha wow, I can’t believe that people are getting ****ed at Obama for doing what he is doing: being a politician. He can’t satisfy the demands of all Americans, and he can’t do what he proposed to do because he has other considerations that a president has and a junior senator doesn’t have.

I was very disappointed when he bailed out the auto industry. If it were me, I would’ve let em sink, let the union who destroyed themselves take their own consequences, and thus eliminate those punks. But I could understand why Obama did what he did: to keep those who voted for him vote for him again in four years.

Truth be told, I am a republican, but I thought that neither Obama nor McCain were the leaders that America needed to pull herself out of this recession. Obama can put the out the words you would want to hear, but he doesn’t have an actual vision of how to change this country for the better. He’s too moderate for his own good. The best thing he can do right now is to take a side, cause “you’ll be damed if you do, and damned if you don’t”. Grow some balls Obama! As for McCain, too senile, and really caught on the end of a lackluster (to say the least) Republican reign. To his credit, Obama did do something that none of the other candidates could: offer a sense of hope to all americans, white, black, yellow, red…
