Ok not really, but I have a lot of questions about resumes.

I have a lot of extra stuff to say to columbia: research work, charity stuff etc. so would it be good to attach a resume even though they say not too. I feel it would really help my application

can someone send me a good format for a college resume for ivy leagues in general

what would be a good format for a columbia resume, if I should include one

This question has been asked a lot on this forum and I myself am very curious about it since I'm applying this fall.

Based on what the current students and alumni are saying it is strongly discouraged especially if it is repeating something that's already found in the application.

That being said I really do think that each individual case is different and for some activities, situations, etc, extra materials may be needed. So for people considering to attach extra materials I would say just trust your intuition. If it feels like it's going to add to your application holistically, by all means go for it. Heck, I'm even attaching extra stuff.

The worst that the admissions committee could do is chuck it out the window because they find the information to be redundant. I really don't think they'll say "GASP, this kid just sent me two pages of extra material! EPIC FAIL! Thanks for the application fee donation!"

my school automatically sends resumes in the transcript packets they send out...

sooooo yeah

yay!

Hahaha, nice misleading title. I wonder if he would be open to speaking at Columbia for a commencement ceremony or something similar.
