Oberlin College Class of 2020 - Regular Decision

@starkly CONGRATS!

I just logged in to my son’s Presto account (which I didn’t even know existed until I read this thread). Says he got the John F. Oberlin Scholarship of $6,000. He was not a strong applicant so I am surprised. But I guess that means he was admitted. Wow.

International here. No change

another ınternatıonal. no change here too

I didn’t finish my financial aid information (didn’t realize things were missing until very recently). That won’t affect whether or not I actually get admitted, will it?

@zozee9 I hope not. My parents didn’t get it in until Monday.

It’s posted on the applicant portal! Good luck everyone!

DECISIONS ARE UP!

Rejected international! All the best to everyone!
Congratulations to those accepted!

Rejection! International. Congrats to those who got in!

Waitlisted. Oberlin was my top choice, but I think I am going to reject the offer. I’ve gotten into a bunch of other really good schools anyway.

Waitlisted. Congrats to those who got in!

Rejected… :frowning:
My stats were SAT 2230 (superscored) and 4.9/5.0 GPA
Guess that’s what happens when you don’t show an interest cause I barely knew this college lol

Rejected

Waitlisted at the college, rejected at the conservatory
Oh well, I have other options

Accepted  good luck to all waitlists I hope everything turns out great

Daughter was accepted, but no merit at all. Little surprising considered what peer schools offered merit and how much. She has other options she’s more comfortable with anyhow.

Good luck to the rest of you!

Rejected. Not too surprised as my stats were low, but I thought being a liberal arts school they would’ve really appreciated my art portfolio and common app essay. Also a URM, doesn’t always make a difference guys

Waitlisted with 35 ACT, two perfect subject tests, and 4.0 UW GPA

Accepted from IL!
