"Objectives" on Resume

What should one write under the category "objectives" on one's resume? Should I mention my specialties or simply state that I would like to go to college?

I would think that colleges would assume you would like to go to college if you are bothering to apply, let alone sending in a resume. There is no need for an "objectives" section as that would only make your resume longer (and although a long resume may seem impressive, admissions don't have that much time to devote to every applicant).

I would not recommend including a formal resume with your application. Somewhat pretentious, IMO.

i tot adcoms hates additional resumes

Yeah, why would you bother sending a resume? The application form isn't exactly short, so you'd probably just be repeating yourself. There's lots of time to talk about your objectives in your essays if you wanted to.

Send in a resume if you want to go into more detail about your ECs. I did, and it worked out fine. Just make it short, simple, and concise.

If you're adding no new information, then don't bother.
