<p>Hello, I will be dorming in Brittany Hall this dorm, in a triple studio. I was wondering it mini rice cookers were allowed in the dorms? An RA in the facebook group said coffee makers were allowed even though the website says they're not, so I'm a little confused, and I haven't seen any info on rice cookers.</p>

<p>Rice cookers are allowed. I know this for a fact because I will be rooming in Rubin, and I called the housing department to make sure. </p>
<p>They said that basically, anything that can be plugged in (open cord) is allowed… but anything with an open flame (e.g. toasters, toaster ovens, hot plates) are not permitted in any of the dorms. Items such as microwaves, rice cookers, and mini fridges are permitted, however.</p>
