So I'm in a AP course this year which has been useless. Can I skip the AP exam for it, or will U of M revoke my admission?

If you don't take the AP Exam, you will not get AP credit. With my school, you get honors credit. It's worth it to sit for 3 hours. At this time, they don't care how you do, as long as you take the AP class and get the AP credit.

If you're not going to get credit for it, I wouldn't take it personally.

I took AP Chemistry in high school, and while I ended up with a pretty poor grade in it (B-, didn't study really), I ended up with a pretty decent AP Score for how much I prepared (nothing, I got a 4). So, I'd say take it if you're gonna get credit for it.

You won't get admission revoked. That would be just plain silly.

They won't care. If you were a Junior and had taken an AP class, but not the exam, they might wonder why you didn't take it, but as of now it should not matter. I know the feeling of a useless AP class, I took a useless AP US History course last year.

I would take it. It actually is very important and there is no reason for you not to. I would not do ANYTHING to have Michigan even think about revoking you.

I don't think it matters. I'm not taking my AP Gov exam this year because I already fulfilled all of my social studies credits for Engineering. How are they going to know whether or not you took it anyway? You don't have to send them your scores even if you did take it - you just wouldn't get credit for it then.
