Obscure Summer Programs

You can do Law at Clark Scholars. In fact, they have had so many science scholars that they might welcome someone who wants a mentor from their Law School. I think a fair amount of the admission decision involves matching the scholar's area of interest with a mentor who will be on campus and available over the summer, and the Law School just might fit!

Clark is a great program. One of my kids is an alum and he had an amazing experience there. It's quite competitive, especially if you aren't a local kid, because there are only a few spots total (12), and I suspect that there is pressure, formal or informal, to reserve some of these for the locals. Plus, it looks like they try to gender balance, probably for purposes of dormitory space as much as anything else.

Don't be put off by the location -- you'll be too busy and have way too much fun. Plus, not only is it free, it pays a stipend which will cover your air fare and personal out-of-pocket expense.
