Is there anyone out there obsessed about college? I'm going to be a senior next year, and I've been researching ALOT about college. and now I can't wait! I still have a year left :((

Well this is gonna so pathetic so no judgement k? I found this website in 7th grade… And I started to worry about college then…

Found this site last year. Have done nothing but try to be CC average. WHich has to be good enought to enough to get in somewhere

Obviously if you’re on this site, you’re obsessed, at least far more than the average person.

The wait after sending in applications is going to be the worst few months of high school haha

I’m going into eighth grade, and I started reading random threads on here and researching colleges when I was in sixth. I’ve been known to stay up until 5am reading… About college. You’re not alone.

lo. I’m obsessed. And I’m going to become a sophomore.

What sucks is finding out people who score 2300+ sat scores, etc.

definately going to be a lovely year (:

harvardhottie, i know what you mean. I’m going to be a senior next year but I’ve been obsessed with college for as long as I can remember. I used to be that kid who would talk about college prematurely as a freshman. Now I’m glad that it seems to be the topic of most discussions.

I’m assuming you want to go to Harvard ? ;)

Uhm…some of these folks are a little wacky. You read about college until the wee hours of the morning…when you were six…?

I agree, though. I kid you not, people ON THIS SITE have told me to stop worrying about applying for now. Lol.

Watching the seniors graduate was painful. I was so happy for them, I felt like I was one of their own. Then I remembered, I have a whole 'nother year of this crap. Lol

lmaoo. I moved and my whole goal in life is to move back.
That’s the only reason why I have basically no social life and studying my butt off.

I’m a rising junior and people are telling me to not even think about college yet. Ummm okay, let me just wait until winter of my senior year to research colleges… (No judgement on those who have done that, though.)

@wiscongene- I meant when I was in sixth grade

Rising junior here, in the same boat as everyone. I got hooked on this site the beginning of my sophomore year, wouldn’t of been able to score on tests as well as I did if it weren’t for the fact that I knew that I had to in order to keep up with the CC’ers :P

Rising senior here. I’ve only been “obsessed” since the end of 9th grade, lol. @Wiscongene, I feel the same way!

I was anon here a bit during middle school… joined in 9th grade and now a rising Junior. xD I am obsessed with college…

Sad (but true) story…
In 7th grade, I found this college that I loved and was bored one winter break afternoon… looked up all the requirements for a major I was interested in and planned what class I would take and what year. xD

@rayna: I did that for pharmacy at UNC. I know that you need General Chem, Organic Chem, Chem Separations/Analyt Char, Calc of 1 Variable, Microbiology, General Bio, Stats, Wellness for Life, and your other humanities requirements to get into the pharmacy school. You all can check me to see if I’m right. Plus, I’m a rising sophomore.

^ ahahaha glad I’m not the only one…! lol. The school I had fallen in love with was Temple University in Japan. At the time, it was the only English-curriculum in Japan that I knew of, but now I know of a lot more (and TUJ is now a “safety-in-Japan” school. :P

I think addicted is more like it i have been non stop reasearching all of my junior year and summer. I swear I can write a book. (Articles on College Life, Dorm Room layouts - options, Every little stat/detail about my top pics, available clubs… anything and everything). My friends are starting to laugh at me tho =[ I have a huge binder full of all my gathered info in paper protectors…

rayna are you japanese or just one of those americans obsessed with japan?

I found this site in 7th grade and I’m a sophomore now. I’m waaaaay too obsessed.

@rayna3 Duuuude! I did that too! Glad to know I’m not alone!
