Occidental College provides a cool opportunity for their prospective theater majors. On November 23rd students come and interview/audition, participate in a master class, have dinner and go to one of Oxy's productions. FYI

Bisouu, I did not find this information on the Oxy site. Could you please give the link? How can I register for this event? Thank you!

Thank you so much, Bisouu, you are the best! I forwarded this information to my D, she’d love to visit! I hope it’s not too late for her to register for audition/interview.

They said they had 40 slots available and I don’t think this program is highly coveted so I am sure she will get a spot They said that parents came come to the dinner and the show just to let them know when they arrive at the school to sign in. I plan to stay for the day while she is in the workshops.

I will try to make it, not sure at this point. I do plan to go to LA to take my D to Chapman’s audition. Planning a second trip is tricky :)

For those of you who live in the Socal area, or are able to visit Oxy on short notice: Oxy is having a Focused Friday event this friday, October 4th to give prospective students a preview of life at Oxy. You can visit oxy’s website to learn more about the event and how to sign up. There is another Focused Friday in November for those who need more planning time :)
