Occidental College Decisions 2008

Maybe your Why Oxy wasnt too convincing?

Why are people listing their SAT IIs? Oxy doesnt consider them right?

Sat II's are not required to apply to Occidental, but they will consider them if you supply them.

^ Are you sure about that? I'm screwed then.

you dont get screwed just bcoz of not sending your sat II hey take chill pill

ACCEPTED!

Stats
SAT:1850

ACT: 26
GPA:3.75 unweighted
Rank:na
Subjective

Counselor Rec: very good
Hook (if any): xc recruit, (xc for 4 years), (track for 3), lots of community service, ASB (student government),....
State or Country:California
School Type:Private
Ethnicity:White

Major strength(s)/weakness(es): SAT/ACT scores are very low, plus GPA was hurt when i transfered schools halfway through high school
Other Factors: I did everything in my power to show Oxy just how much I want to attend.
Going to attend?: I want to really really bad, but $50,000 is a lot! We'll see...

I did send my SAT IIs. They suck. Mid 600s

Your SAT2s are automatically sent along with your SAT1s. You can not request that they be withheld. Some people take the ACT just to avoid sending their SAT2s.

Yeah I know that. But Oxy is my first choice and I dont want my SAT IIs kicking me out. My SAT I is M:790 CR:650 (I am International). Math IIC:620 and Phy:690, I just had a very bad day.

My why oxy was solid. Well lets see what comes out.sigh GOod Luck Everyone!

Decision: Accepted with Trustee scholarship!!
