Has anyone done this? If so can you post your stats? My teacher says it's hard to get into but in terms of ED and the regular applicant pool, they have a 43% acceptance rate and fairly low GPA/SAT requirements. Help!!!

A school's admissions criteria almost NEVER change from the ED round to the regular round. However, as you've demonstrated that you WILL go there by applying ED, colleges have more incentives to take you if you're a little less competitive. However, this phenomenon generally takes place at 2nd and lower tier schools. As long as you've stayed on the top fourth of your class and have SAT scores ranging from 1860-2020 and above, you should have little trouble getting in. It seems though (given Oxy's data) that their acceptance rate stays around 42 percent throughout both ED rounds and RD rounds.

Also, you realize that I didn't just KNOW this information off the top of my head, and just went to collegeboard.com and copied it in.... do your own research next time. Colleges want independent thinkers, not those who have to rely on others for the most basic of information.... though clearly I'm happy to help.
