Occidental is much much nicer…

Occidental for econ. Chapman is better at graphic arts and communications.

^^^^^ricegal, fully agree

thanks i feel the same way. any other opinions?

Occidental kids seem to be a lot more happy with their college than Chapman and more seem to stay at Occidental. Chapman’s 6-year graduation rate is among the worse that I have seen considering the quality of the school:

Six year graduation rates

85% - Occidental
68% - Chapman

Occidental, hands down. Excellent school, hipper area, very good econ department.

Chapman’s a fine school, but for econ, and overall liberal arts, Oxy is a stronger choice.

Occidental’s students also tend to socialize around campus more often as Chapman is more of a commuter school for many

Percent of Students living on campus
42% - Chapman
80% - Occidental

then there are the financial resources available to each college

Total Endowment fy2010
$299 million - Occidental
$151 million - Chapman

Endowment per student
$150,272 - Occidental
$23,554 – Chapman
