Occidental vs. Chapman?

Hey guys!
Basically, I'm completely 50/50 divided between the two schools, and would greatly appreciate any help in making this important decision.

I know that there has been a post similar to mine, but I have a few questions regarding my own situation. I've been accepted to both Occidental and Chapman and am having difficulty choosing which one to go to! Occidental is offering me $15k a year and Chapman $25k a year. Financially, paying for college should not be a problem.

I'm planning to study sociology for sure and anything along the lines of theater and jazz vocals. I plan on double-majoring in sociology and either music performance (jazz vocals) or theater. I understand that the Chapman film/theater majors are quite developed and competitive. I'm not sure how great the Oxy theater program is, however. Would anyone help me understand more about their theater programs? I understand everything that's written on the website, but I would like some "unofficial" advice/comments/etc.

I also really want to study jazz vocals, and am not sure which school is more developed in that sense. I know that Chapman has a vocal performance major for classically-trained vocalists only, but that's not what I'm looking for.

Sociology - I'm pretty sure that they're both great programs in both schools (although I think Oxy has a better department in that area). I'm not so sure though! It would be lovely if anyone shed any light on that.

From what I've seen, Chapman has a more "college campus" feel to it. The dorms also seem nicer with private bathrooms. But Occidental is much closer to LA and seems to be more well-known throughout the nation. It's also much smaller (which I love!)

Lastly, I'm my dream career plan is to become a jazz vocalist and dabble in a bit of acting and maybe film production/directing on the side, so I would love any comments/concerns that would relate to those fields directly. I chose sociology as a kind of "back-up major" if my entertainment career doesn't work out.

Thank you all so much!
