OCD and college admissions?

This year, at the beginning of the year, I was diagnosed with OCD and this year my grades improved drastically. I went from having very few A's and the rest B's to straight A's. I have NOT asked for special accommodations, seeing a psychologist is the only thing that has changed. My GPA is a 4.5 on a 5.0 scale. My question is if it would be OK to include the fact I had OCD that was untreated to justify my lower grades (along with an explanation of how it hurt my grades) or if colleges will see this as asking for pity or not accept me because I have a mental disorder. I do not plan on taking the ACT with accommodations. My projected ACT score is a 34. My dream school is UChicago. Thanks for the input :)

What year are you?

Junior

Tell your GC to write about it in his/her letter of rec.

What sucks is that my counselor doesn’t even know me… I’ve met him like 3 times.
