I know that both UCSD and Humboldt University have great marine science programs, but which one would be a better school to go to?

Are you a CA resident? I am assuming you are planning to apply to both? Have you looked over the course curriculum for each school? Are there significant differences which would make one program better than the other?
Reputation wise UCSD would be the better school but it also is significantly harder to get an acceptance vs Humboldt.
What are your stats?
