OCHEM = doom?........

Hi everyone,
I'm starting ochem this quarter (CHEM 140A, then B, C)...
And I'm scared. From what I've heard so far it's the most dreaded class at UCSD.
Has/is anyone taken it/going to take it that can give advice or words of support?
eek!

thanks :)

helloooooooo

I doubt you will get an answer here, considering the vast majority of us UCSD-CCers are incoming freshman and hence have NOT taken ochem yet. ;)

You should try asking this in sduncensored.com or the LJ UCSD community.

thanks anyway. :)
good luck with your first year!

Okay, it really just depends on what you're good at. A lot of people just suck at science/memorization(I heard o-chem is a lot of that), so what do you expect? I know someone who thought o-chem wasn't hard at all....

Good luck. =]

it is entirely different from gen. chem. I took 140A at UCI during the summer and it was pretty tough. The material was not bad, just the limited time that we had to learn the material. I'm taking 140B during the fall so hopefully its not as stressful. what else are you taking with ochem, probably physics huh?
