<p>I'm currently taking the ochem class but because of a schedule conflice may have to wait on the lab untill later. Has any of you taken the class w/o the lab? and lab is required for med school applications right?</p>

<p>Well, I don't know what college or exactly what class you're referring to, but in general it is not necessary to take a lab class ASAP. It will be necessary for applications, but even if you want to take the lab senior year, you can include on your application that you intend to take it.</p>
<p>As for forgetting class material by the time you take the lab... my own experience has shown that isn't much of a concern.</p>
