I don't know if this is true but I've been hearing rumors that the October curve is supposedly the most generous...is this true...?

edit: ignore the 2012. i meant this for october in general, not the test in 2012.

There’s no set rule. It depends on the difficulty of the exam, which is not related to the month in any way. October can be hard in 2009 and 2010, then be very easy in 2011, making the curve harsh. There is no specific order.

October has the worst curve. All the seniors who have been studying during the summer take it, and one mistake can drop your score anywhere from 30-50 points. December is the best in my opinion.

It changes month to month year to year so it is impossible to determine what the curve will be like. Also, unless you are going for a 2200+, a curve really doesn’t help you.

My goal is a 2200 haha.
