Hi everyone
I was just wondering if the Oct 23 ACT still be considered by CU ED which is due on Nov 1?

And btw with SAT & ACT, are they the same in terms of the degree of difficulty?

Can anyone answer this question? I’m curious as well since I plan on doing EA for UofC.

i can answer the second part, im planning on taking the act on the october date as well. So far, I’ve heard that the act is geared more toward the math/science inclined person. In comparison the sat, the act’s math is a lot tougher, and includes trig. Also the time is totally different compared to the sat, which some people prefer, and some dislike. I mainly prefer that each section on the act is tested at only one block, rather than the SAT’s 10 sections. I think that the reading and english sections of the act are way easier, mainly because there isn’t as much anylizing required as the sat needs. By the way, there’s practically no difficulty in the vocabulary the act tests over.
Overall- english being stronger-> SAT
math/science being stronger -> ACT
