Oct 25: Difficult or simple?? breakdown of sections

How did you feel about the test today?? Here's a breakdown of what I thought
English : Medium to easy... I think today's English was a lot simpler than the usual ones... (Although I think I missed the last one... is it angry with or angry for? Probably missed the lie vs lay too.. Never figured that rule out)
Math : Particularly easy... Maybe it's just because I heart math... had a little stunt there at the law of cosigns cause didn't have trig yet.... but I think I got it right
Reading: Monster: why do I hate reading so? I'm so depressed about reading cause I got a sugar crash and couldn't find any answers. I'm also not a native speaker so... probably made a 20-25 (Noos! I was hoping for higher... at least a 30)
Science: Very difficult: Made a 36 on the Red book but ain't making one now.... The questions were so hard... had to guess on 4 and time ran out on me.... The questions are so much harder on this test for some reason

Well, here's my analysis... post yours.

I had a different test from everyone else, but here are my views on Form 68F. :p

English: Average. Maybe a little bit easier than usual.
Math: Difficult. I never run out of time, but I couldn’t finish 5 Q’s and there was a lot of stuff I didn’t know how to do, or had never learned…
Reading: Easy, seemed very straightforward and I was pretty confident on everything.
Science: Average, but slightly trickier than usual. Some strange passages in there…

English: Very easy
math: okay, pretty easy
Reading: very easy
science: hard.

english:average
math: easy, everything on the test was pretty straightforward
reading: average to above average difficulty
science: extremely hard

I was feeling pretty good about the first 3 (had time to check my work and everything). Science was disastrous… barely even finished and made “educated guesses” on a few.

All the sections were easy except science…I probably got a 10 on that.

English - A bit harder than usual
Math - A bit easier than usual
Reading - Normal/a bit easier
Science - Harder than usual

I am kicking myself right now for answering 1 on Eng and 1 on Sci wrong… I can still get a 36, but it’ll be difficult. :(

who cares if you don’t get a 36? it’s not a big deal; anything 32 or higher is great.

English - average, maybe a little harder than usual
Math - easy
Reading - easy/average
Science - hard, but not harder than usual (I hate the science section)

English-Okay, about same as all others i took
Math-easy, except for 1 or 2 obscure ones
Reading- Okay
Science-Medium- physics was hard even though I am taking it lol-too many unnecessary stuff distracted me—one question asked about which one has the most inertia… I picked W

I thought the test was very easy today. Which makes me worry that I’ll fail it. :(

English: Very easy, I had about 7 minutes at the end, tree of which I used to review my answerers.

Math: Easy, I finished with about 10 minutes!!! But I used about 7 of those minutes to do the three questions I left ‘half baked’ two of which I guessed wrong (and then fixed).

Reading: Easy, almost average. The passages were easy to get, and my Writing class spent about a month on analyzing Gladwell.

Science: Average, it was the only test I didn’t have extra time on. But I’m hoping for at least a 29.

Essay: Interesting, but easy, choice. I accidentally set my clock wrong, and had 5 minutes at the end. I decided that I was for competition.

English: wasn’t bad
Math: wasn’t sure about 1 of the graph thing.
Reading: Medium/Hard Ran out of time on the last passage. Guessed on 5/6
Science: Diastrous. Filled in the last 6 randomly and the first three or four. I hate the first bio passage. I’m more of a Chemistry person. I’d be happy with a 25.

I’m hoping for 30+…

English - Easy. I had 10 minutes left to check.
Math - Am I stupid or something? I honestly thought that this section was a beast. I had about 4 problems where I had little idea what to do.
Reading - I thought this was better than the last time I took it.
Science - Well… I don’t want to say it was easy but I had far more time when it came to this.

Essay - I wanted to write more but I only got 4 paragraphs and hopefully I kept my focus. Hoping for a 9 like last time or maybe even a 10.

Overall: I’m hoping for a 32-33.5. If not, whatever. I am officially done with tests.

English: Easy peasy lemon squeezy! I breezed through with 10 minutes left. Hopefully I didn’t make and careless mistakes

Math: Average. Always my worst section for some reason. I probably missed 5 or 6.

Reading: Easy. Pretty confident on all of them.

Science: Hard as could be. I’m hoping for a 25 that’s how bad it was.

Essay: Easy. Even had time for a good intro and conclusion.

Overall: Pretty easy for my first time. Hopefully at least a 30 (unless I complelty bombed science)

dixie,

because I already have a 34 and I know I am capable of a 36… I just hope I didn’t blow it with those two answers + possibly a couple stupid mistakes…

AHHH WHEN WILL NOVEMBER 12TH BE HERE!!!

First time with ACTS:
Math: Very easy
English: Simple
Reading: Not too bad-- I stupidly tried to read the passages
Science: A PAIN IN THE @SUDF!! The questions weren’t hard, the passages were hard to disgest…

raveflare, I agree with you about math…I thought it was the worst math section I’ve ever taken (out of 3 sittings).
English was super easy, as usual.
Reading: excellent; I paced myself well and was able to answer all of the questions confidently
Science: ehhh…about the same as usual. I got a 30 on science in April; I either matched that or did slightly worse…can’t tell for sure. I think just 5 more minutes would be a very reasonable extension and make a huge difference for everyone on that section.

(Other than this one, I’ve only done the September ACT)

English - about the same as the september; Average/easier. But I’m bad with English to begin with, so I’m gonna guess 30-32.

Math - A LOT EASIER THAN SEPTEMBER. But of course, I probably made stupid errors

Reading - Harder than last time. I wasn’t even close to finishing. =/

Science - The usual. Really hard.

English - pretty normal, maybe a little easier than usual

Math - pretty easy

Reading - not bad at all

Science - Really hard

My science went from a 35 to a 28 the second time I took it so basically it really depends on the test.

My guesses

English - Mad Easy
Math - Normal (f’d up a few easy q’s little because i hadnt prepped in 5 months)
Reading - Normal
Science - Relativley Hard, We’ll see.

Trying to go up from a 31 my first time.
