***Oct 5 SAT I Results***

The scores for the SAT on Oct 5 just came out less than 20min ago so I made this thread so people can discuss how they did

ALOT worse than I had expected. sigh :(

CR 730
M 800
WR 790

I’m quite satisfied with this score but I think the reading part could have been better. And because a lot of students cheated on the writing test, the curve is not so good. btw, international test.

How many times do people have to be told that how well or how horribly students did on the test has absolutely no bearing on the curve because the curve is already predetermined!

Even if 2,000 students cheated and all got 800 on the writing, your score is determined by the curve that College Board has created BEFORE, not AFTER the actual test.

2100, it really sucks
what do you mean by cheating? Oo
btw, international, Ukraine

donnykim’s right, but still: screw the cheaters.

CR 720
M 680
W 660

Not an awesome score but I self-studied for four months straight during the summer and this was my second time and final time taking it. I have no more chances because of ED. Started at 1440 took a course then got 1770 Nov. 2012.

Really? Mine still says “Not yet available.” So if I send “all available scores” now, this won’t include my Oct 5 results, right?

The curve is too steep :frowning:
690 R
760 W
690 M
(International student)

CR 710
M 660
W 620
This is so terrible, especially compared with my ACT score of 33.

I’m taking the SAT II on Nov 2, does anyone know if it’s possible to just send those to colleges without sending the SAT I?

CR 680
M 690
W 720

Not satisfied with CR and W but math…I have no idea why I got 690 for math. I usually get 770 or 800 for mocks. WHYYYYYYYYY

My score is pitiful compared to you guys, but I’ll share it anyways. Honestly it’s way worse than I was expecting. Only got an 1890. Critical Reading stayed the same, Writing went up 20, Math went down 10 (***?).

Community college it is for me guys ;(

What do you mean by cheating on the writing section?

690 CR
680 M
760 W

If only I got a 10 on the essay… by the way, international student

Was this test harder? All of my scores were in the 90 range percentile…

680 CR
760 W (Essay 10)
690 M
also international, so almost the same as @missturbob.
Second time taking it; the first time was a 2100 and I improved on Maths and Writing but CR went down.

670 CR
700 M
670 W

no idea why math only 700. I got 770 last time and I thought I would get 800 in Math this time.

Do international students normally get lower than American students? I know that in Canada where I live standardized testing is never used

670 CR
800 math
550writing
with 57 multiple choice and 7 essay .
2020
I think I did poorly, especially when you compare my writing and CR scores.

690 math 770 reading 770 writing. Pleasantly surprised with writing, slightly annoyed with math.

760 CR (up from 590 in January!) 750 M (already have a 770 though) 700 W (already have an 800 though with a 12 essay)
2330 superscore! Woohoo!
