Oct 6 Sat Scores Are Out On Web

would this look weird?

05/2006
CR 750
M 790
W 780

10/2006
CR 720
M 800
W 780

10/2007
CR 800
M 780
W 800

Though my cumulative score is 2400 if u take the highest from each section, i really didn't expect my Math to drop. would it look bad?

and should i try for a single sitting 2400? i dunno if i wld get as lucky the next time round though..

just by probability alone, your math score was bound to go down. I would not bother retaking... My GC told me not to worry about my score drop, and it was by 50 points! Most schools will just look at the superscore.

will most schools consider only the highest score from each individual section, or only the highest from one sitting? in other words, will they consider my SATs as a 2400 or a 2380? :?

:) :)

...it has been said that 2380 is a particularly bad number...
...it is okay to get a lower score or a higher score....

:D

uh-huh. come on man! seriously...

Why do you guys even consider retaking a 2250+? A 750 750 750 is very ideal, and leaves space for a few careless mistakes.

right on FellowCCviewer but there is a prevalent attitude on some
CC forums that adcoms actually choose between a 2300 and a 2250
based on SAT scores.

I am pretty sure they do not. In fact they probably do not give a hoot
about your SAT scores once it is beyond 2250 or some thing similar....

Admission probably depends on other factors once ther SAT shows the
applicant is not destined to be the intellectual equivalent of a
pumpkin or a squirrel or a chimpanzee or a politician who is dumb enough to
run for and get elected president of the US....

Yay! First time, and no preparation:
CR 800
Writing 780
Math 660
M+CR: 1460
Total:2240

if I jump from 1500 to 2000, will Collegeboard delay in returning my grade?

i studied real hard and I am really looking forward to this test score.BUT unfortunately, I fall in the small percentage that don't get their grades back.

or maybe i misbubbled the registration number?

now i am really worried and paranoid

somebody tell me what i should do???! :[

Critical Reading: 550(11/2006) => 720(05/2007)

Math: 800

Writing: 610(11/2006) => 740(05/2007)
