It says on mine that it will only be available a week later...and that only a "small percentage" of test takers have this problem. I didn't take any make up test or anything wierd like that...so WHY AREN"T MY SCORESSSS SHOWING NOWWWW>>>I WAITEDD SOO LONGGG!!!!!!

did you have your admission ticket when you went to the test? maybe that could have been the problem.

why would that be a problem if you have your admission ticket or not at the test? I registered and put my registration number...

I have same problem now. I think it is because of Royal Mail for me(i live in england) but I'm not sure.
Well do we have to wait until Nov? or there is some possiblity that we can know our score bit eariler than that?

Check again...
I have got the same message and after a minute or two I got my scores...

Mango

If call CB will they tell me my score ???????

man, i was so ****ed last night.

Why do I get the feeling this only happened to some international students? Are you guys international?

Yeah, is it until Nov 2 or is Nov 2 actually a result deadline rather than the date the results will be published?

There was a thread last night (not sure if it was valid) that someone figured out a way to find their scores on college board even though it said they were not available yet....Check the SAT threads.....

it's congruent ... that method did not work for me though I'm sure I followed the right steps.

I have the same problem!!
I am not an international student.
Dude, I'm scared, I hope CB didn't lose my test... why would there be a problem?? Has this ever happened to anyone? I can't wait a week.

The last time I got my score 2 or 3 weeks after the announced date!!! ****(I'm an international)

if you dont have the number from the ticket then your scores get delayed.

i didn't bring my admission ticket cos myanmar had monk protests and internet was banned in the whole country...so i couldnt print it out...but there were only 2 of us who didn't have our admission tickets...and everyone else in teh room who took the test with us had it...YET...i asked everyone from the testing room and apparently ALL our scores got delayed...
if it's because we live in myanmar....i'd be so mad..

i think international scores come later.

The javascript mod worked because, for 99% of people, they already had them done and just didn't have the links put in. (You don't try to upload all those scores at once- it takes time, you have to test, etc.)

However, for a small subset of kids, scores come later for a variety of reasons.

First off, there are anti cheating mechanisms. There is a seating chart that the proctor fills out in the back of the examination instruction booklet. When they scan scores, the computer compares for any inconsistencies (kids going up 600pts out of 2100, many same wrong answers, etc.). If an inconsistency comes up, it has to be investigated. Proctors often forget to fill out seating charts- which means they have to contact them, etc.

Next, there are a LOT of papers. Even a company like CB has trouble keeping it all together. With millions of test takers every year, a few answer sheets get screwed up (by the student, proctor, shipping company, at CB)... So, they have to check any problematic answer sheets (tears, dips, improper scanning, etc.). This takes time.

Additionally, after the mis scored answer sheet fiasco of 2005, the CB is eager to avoid problems in advance. My guess is that they randomly select answer sheets for further screening- some are scored in another machine, some are done by hand for free. The redundancy helps with making sure scores are right, but it takes time.

Also, people make mistakes, and answer sheet ones can take a bit to sort out. If you get everything right but the form code, your last name, etc., they have to investigate and make sure it's correctly assigned. US citizens that give their SSN rarely encounter this- if they get their registration info right, errors can be sorted out much quicker due to the unique and confidential number in the system.

Finally, if any irregularities are reported, they have to check into them (whether it is heating issues, noise, disruption, etc.). My previous SAT scores were delayed due to the three fire drills that occurred. We didn't talk and we didn't get any more time (we lost two minutes, actually- timing error by the proctor). The CB investigated and made sure (by asking the principle, who asked people around us) that we didn't discuss any of the content on the test. It delayed our scores by a week.

In conclusion, there are a variety of reasons why your scores could be delayed. You, the proctor, or the CB might have made a mistake that needs to be investigated. A disruption/"irregularity report" may have been filed. The CB might be using your score report at random to make sure that the grading machines are doing a good job. Whatever the reason, it probably isn't related to the fact that you're international, or more specifically in Myanmar.

If everyone in your room was delayed, it's probably either cheating or an irregularity (weather, noise whatever). They wouldn't have filed an irregularity report- the supervisors manual explicitly says that. So, you didn't cause it :)

Quote the Manual for the PSAT (other than the mentions of National Merit, the SAT one is the same):

Actually, I think QAS orderers have their scores..

(can anybody confirm this? all my QAS friends have their scores...)

I had QAS on my exam when it was delayed. I was the only one. CB did not disclose why my scores were delayed.

Okay, I just found out that everyone in my SAT testing room hasn't gotten their SAT score. Our proctor must have messed something up. So a good 20 ppl dont have their scores, including me. Sucks!

Did you guys get an email about this?
My scores are not on the web, but I didn't any notifications about scores coming out later, so now I'm really worried, is there some way to find out by phone what's wrong?
I'm doing EA for Stanford, I'm seriously getting SO worried.

no, I just contacted about 5 people that were in that room, and they all said they hadn't gotten their score. So mostly likely no one else did.
