On the collegeboard website it says the scores will be online on Oct. 25th, and mailed on Nov. 2nd.

If I want to applying EA...will the schools get my scores by the Nov. 1st deadline?

would we get the score by mail sooner if we do a rush report?

The October test is timely for an early round application (that's why it is when it is). SOME colleges may consider a November SAT test timely too, but check what each college says.

Harvard's admission staff reports that "rush" scores arrive at the same time as regularly reported scores--in plenty of time to consider them for admission purposes--so there is no reason to rush scores. Unless a college specifically advises you to order rush service, don't waste your money on it.

Every college that has a Nov 1 app deadline for EA or ED accepts October test scores by normal delivery (the app deadline is not the date by which test scores must be in). Many of those even accept Nov test scores (also by regular delivery) at least for SAT IIs

thank you
that's a relief

dont rush your scores, according to a duke admissions officer, it gets there just 2 days early and its annoying for them to put yours among the rest of the applicants
