<p>While it’s entirely possible that people are untruthful when reporting their scores on an anonymous message board like this, I’m inclined to believe that the vast majority of these reports are accurate. As it has been stated before, CC is a self selecting community and is also relatively well advertised (my school’s Naviance lists the newest threads for each college on the stats page). A lot of people who eventually manage upper end scores search the internet for ways to compensate for weaknesses in their own testing ability and in the ability of pep books to teach them (I know I incessantly did this over the past few months). This site has perhaps some of the best test prep advice on the internet, so it’s no surprise that people who lurk here have the potential to achieve higher scores than the rest of America. That’s not to say that you HAVE to be on this website to get a high score, it’s just that many people who frequent it do score high.</p>
