Cr:580(fine to me…)
M:740(Oh,why every time I think I could get 800?maybe just 2mistake take me down!!!)
W:690 total:2010(kinda funny number…first try,still pleased)
I’m international student,I don’t know whether the questions in test are same as yours. But,wow, you guys’ terrific scores are really freaking me out, almost all above 2200 and some of you still say:"retaking?‘’ which makes my 2010 like a below-average-scores.
No offensive, just out of curiosity, I heard that many amercian students actually don’t do so well in SAT,typically,1600-1700 would be fair scores. But you guys just give me a completely different impression!Did I hear a myth about students in America, which means most of you can easily get a 2200 or all the people who post here are all genius in that country?

^CC is a self selecting community. All the top students are attracted to this website, seeking help. With CC knowledge, many have improved scores like crazy. Myself, included, although, I am only a sophomore and took the PSAT this year not the SAT.

w/ cc i went from an average score of 1600 (freshman year) to around a 2250 (all based on practice tests). Im taking my first SAT in Jan!! Hope for a 2300+ congratz everyone.
I saw a 2400 and 2370 the 1337 top 1000 out of 2 million test takers.

BIO - E: 670
(I only just started AP Biology this year so I had no idea what I was doing during the test)
CHEM: 800
(I took AP Chem last year and destroyed the exam, this test was a breeze, though, to be honest, I didn’t have time to answer the last two questions)
MATH II: 790
(I was really worried about this test. I noticed I was going way too slow when I heard the 10 minutes warning and even when I tried to quicken my pace I only ended up answering 41/50 questions - I am super surprised at this score)

Im bad at math, i hate it at all! Should i take the SAT I again on dec. 9?
I took the ACT last saturday, i was wondering if i should just wait for it or just take the SAT I again?

I haven’t posted here before, I’ve actually just found this site on like October 10th…I think I saw it on a Facebook group or something.

This was my first sitting, and I’m a junior, obviously.

I didn’t study at like…all. I did have a little SAT dictionary that I read over like the day before, but I didn’t even get that far into…I did take an SAT Prep class at my school last year though, but the English part only really focused on vocab and the math part used stuff that was way harder than the real thing.

CR: 800!(I was so surprised, I thought I bombed that one about the movie critic and the ancient history one)
Math: 700(I skipped like 5, and I guessed on a few that I knew I got wrong).
Writing: 560(8/56)…Um yeah…My school really doesn’t teach that much grammar. I knew I should’ve looked over some grammar stuff. I always go to collegeboard.com too, I just…didn’t before the test. I thought my essay would be better though.
Composite: 1500
Super: 2060

I might retake is next year, since I kinda wanted to have a shot at getting into Yale, but I dunno. I don’t even know what SAT IIs I would take. I’ll probably just go to Nova or Cornell, they don’t need writing.

Haha, I feel dumb compared to a lot of you guys. In my defense, I’ve only taken the SAT twice.

CR: 770 <- Boo, why go down? You were 800 the last time…
Math: 750 <- I do not bring honor to my family
Writing: 800 <-Asian boy speeka good Ingrish?

Sitting score is 2320, super score is 2350.

Oh, and (my apologies if this sounds belittling) “superscoring” refers to using individual section grades from multiple test grades. As you’ve only taken the SAT once both you don’t have any actual “super score” but your composite is 1500/2060 depending on whether you look at 2score or 3score.
Not that it matters, like, at all.

Keep in mind that this website represents a biased portion of the all SAT test takers. Do you think all test takers go on a website for the SAT. No, only the truly ambitious students congregate here.
