Hey, so I got the detailed score report today, and I found out that I got 1 Error ID and 1 Improving Sentence with 12 essay..so that is 76/80 and 12 essay which gave me 790.

I'm not complaining that 790 is bad, but I just found a user on the forum who got 800 with 76/80 with 12 essay (exact same sub-scaled score)

I believe that person was from US, but I took SAT in Europe.
Is the curve different for US and outside US? or is it a mistake from Collegeboard that I have to complain about?

hello there nuclear...no,curves are based on how everyone else does..if everyone else in your country/area does really well then the curve will be really strict...if everyone else does horribly then i guess that gives more room for errors if you get what im saying...

I believe scores are scaled based on which version of the test you got - several versions are given on any one day and for whatever reason, your version had more people with higher scores. Whether the test actually was easier or just had a more competitive group of students can not really be figured, but that's the way it goes. I dropped to 780 for only 1 question wrong.
