Oct. Test Easier??

So far I've known a lot of kids who have gotten like 2200+ after getting like 2000/2100s before, and myself included. Did anyone think this test was easier or did everyone else just study harder?

OCT tests were relatively easier, with harsher curves!

I think that there were just a ton of kids who did badly, or collegeboard has boosted everyone's scores by 200 points by mistake. I got a 2330, and my friends who took it got 2320 and 2300. They aren't even geeks! I am though. One girl who got a 1970 before went up to a 2210. Maybe collegeboard just felt generous or something.

Yeah what is going on.. I hope this doesn't affect my chances going to college

CB is very accurate with their curve setting. everyone i know bombed this test....Oct scores seem high because you get a full summer to study between the June and Oct exams.

I know a ton of people who have scored 2200+.. Just look in the improvement thread, almost everyone who posted there went from like sub 2200 to 2300

Is there anyone here who DID NOT improve? Or just improve a little, like 30-40 points or less?

seriously. i think it's a combination of people studying harder, the test getting easier, and not everyone is represented on cc

well..at my school a LOT went up...but a lot stayed exactly the same or did a little worse.

Plus, only the people who did well will talk about their scores

good point..

Well, this isn't an objective place to look. Clearly everyone who posts on CC would be those who study hard and are very concerned about standardized tests. So it's only natural that scores would generally have an upward trend.

It's been a long time since CollegeBoard really screwed anything up (except for the 2005 debacle), so I think the curve is still the same.

I only improved 50 points...from 2100 to 2150.

For those of you who think the Oct. test was easier...it's because this website is insane. The scores on this website are not in any way indicative of the scores of the general population.

lol hopefully. i went up 180 points and i thought that was good until i saw some people improving like 250 points to like 2350s
