October 06 QAS $50

If you have an ORIGINAL QAS test and answers from SAT administered on October of 2006, I will gladly pay you $50 for it.

As you may be aware it is not legal to sell copies of the QAS, but it is perfectly legal to sell the original QAS test.

My conditions are simple, it must be unaltered in any way. That means no pen/pencil marks on any page, even if erased.

I will also consider trading QAS's, if you would like. I have the March 05, October 05, January 06, May 06, another Oct 06, and January 07.

PM me if you are interested.

No takers?

From where did you get the idea it was OK to sell the test?

I had composed a rather long message, but apparently it wasnt allowed so here goes the short version.

There is a legal principle called the first-sale doctrine. It states, germaine to the current discussion, that when you purchase a copyrighted work that you are entitled to sell or give away the original work. You cannot make a copy of that work and sell that copy or give away, distribute, etc that work.

Hence, you may sell, pass on, or give away the original copyrighted work. Accordingly, I am only requesting that someone perform a legally viable action and help me determine the veracity of a claim about the College Board's SAT exams.

Hope this helps.
