*******October *19* PSAT Answers****

If someone could go through and just make a list of all the combined answers that would be truly fantastic. I love this thread but its so hard to find what I’m looking for. I would do it but I really don’t have the time.

CR Section 1:

8: impatience…desultoriness
9: Surprise and delight
10: To emphasize the importance of a discovery
11: To support an opening claim 11 or 12 I don’t remember
I am just going to call out random answers now

Wow thank you so much! That was fantastic! Do you really think the writing curve will be that harsh though?

That’s actually a very generous curve. I took it from the 2012 Wednesday PSAT edition because I thought the difficulties were the same.

Is it certain that only 2 of the writing questions were NE?

I think the two accepted NEs were the sunflower question and the union management question.

For 26, most people agree that the answer is A. Some thought E, though.

Here is the sentence:

Presumed [that it was] extinct [until July 29, 1968] when an earthquake [caused it] to erupt, Mount Arenal is now the [most active] volcano in Costa Rica.

@JackTC you my friend have an amazing memory!

@JackTC what question was the rectangle one with an answer of -1/2…? dont exactly remember putting that answer down haha

@swerve22

I think, if I remember correctly, it was question 19 in section 2. Somewhere else in this thread people have posted their answers to this question as well.

@swerve22

Do you remember the Room 411 Agatha Christie question? What did you get?

@swerve22

Sorry, I messed up on the rectangle question. The answer is actually 1/2.

@JackTC I remember the Agatha Christie question itself (it was like 17 or 18 on fixing sentences) but unfortunately i dont remember what i put :(. And oh okay thanks! i was worried since i put 1/2 on that question and thought i may have taken the negative reciprocal incorrectly.

@swerve22

Do you remember putting anything like “which was where she stayed”?

hello… i know i should have asked before…but what did you guys put for the writing question with “the union has…” Is it has or had?

It’s December! (Mixed emotions) :slight_smile: :frowning: any ideas when we will get scores!

Haven’t got mine yet. Im in AZ if that matters.

The link says that there were three no errors… What were the no errors again?

@exterandover

I see only two (22 and 26).

Did anyone get their grades yet?/Do you know the exact dates schools get the grades?
