October 1st SAT in time for Early Decision?

<p>I will be applying EARLY DECISION to my #1 college as a senior. The application deadline is November 1st. So far, I have only taken the ACT. My only chance to take the SAT is this october. Will taking them on october 1st leave me enough time to receive my scores before the Nov1st application deadline and decide if I want to send them to the college I'm applying to?</p>

<p>How do you know the test will be on October 1st? But SAT scores come in usually 3 weeks after you take the test. So if it’s on Oct 1st, you’ll have enough time.</p>
