@crlee, definitely an impulse, cause “he decided last minute”

acted as an impulse

Why was it impulse? Wasn’t it because of his grandfather? Isn’t that the literal answer because it mentions that in the passage? I was deciding between impulse and grandfather but I put grandfather because I couldn’t find any exact proof of impulse.

oh yeah for the artist one what did you guys put for the third to the last
I remember that A stated that “Something” was a rare luxury
C,D,E did not make any sense

Would the guy that wrote the zen Buddhism one say the author of the second passage is squandering good moments ?

@andromeda89
Wasn’t in the context, slip meant to forget momentarily?

Okay now I get it, it was an impulse … arghhhhausdhfuiasdf

Oh yeah…that question. I’m pretty sure it was about inheriting that trait from his grandfather, because it was an inference question. The other one comes straight from the passage…that’s wrong.

what were the other answer choices for the question that has “squandering moments?”

aluminumBoat, yes! I put squandering good moments.

@crazedoutboy:
but the passage stated “at the last min”

I think the last line for the NAtive americans goes something like this:
With the complexity of their memories/minds, it is no wonder that the Native Americans are able to [memorize fluently?] during these ceremonies.

I remember that impulse question context saying. “Last minute he decided to enroll in a drawing class, even though his parents thought it frivolous at his age,which seemed silly because his grandfather was an artist.” He chose to enroll in the class:

a) to pessss off his parents
b) because of an impulse
c) because of his grandfather

I don’t see how he inhereted from his grandfather. It was a last minute decision.
