for this q, i think u will need to look at the oxidation states of bromine rather than lead and i think PbBr3 does not exist.

Is a conjugate acid of a weak base an acid or base? There are a few contradictions in princeton review regarding this topic.

^^strong acid

btw, what was the solubility one on the SAT with the chart and all. does it become a supersaturated solution and the people were trying to fool you, or do you just follow the chart for temperature and saturation?

I don’t think they were trying to fool you. I just followed the chart and that made logical sense…but I guess if they fooled me, I wouldn’t know, eh? haha

I think its a supersaturated soln. but I’m not sure.

I followed the chart as well. My reasoning went that if it were a supersaturated solution there must be a “breaking point” at which supersaturated solutions simply can no longer exist (my own assumption) if you lower the temperature so much that the solubility becomes unreasonably low. This should vary for every substance - hence, if this value is not declared, it would be impossible to determine whether or not it was supersaturated or simply saturated, and hence we must assume it is simply saturated.

Granted, the pivotal premise of this reasoning is again the total seemingly logical fabrication of my mind, and could be in its entirety profoundly incorrect.

there was a question on supersaturation? O.O

when do scores come out? someone told me saturday

Thursday, the 29th. Someone correct me if I’m wrong though…

Yep, I got my scores today, the 29th. 800! w00t :]

Me too! I’m very pleased! :D

750 - I’m pleased with this score. Well, don’t have to take sat ii subject tests again.

700
I’m happy with this

800! i feel so CC-like!

800!!! I feel like I’m going to college now. :D

I know this is a repeated question, but what prep books or methods did you 760~800ers use? I know Barrons is the most commonly preferred one. Do you think a week (~6 hours / day) of studying the entire book (I’ve taken AP Chem last year so I have most of the knowledge, just rusty) will be enough for a score in the range of 760~800?

powerbomb - Although i scored a 750 (which is one or two questions away from a 760), I’m saying that you should not study that diligently since you have taken ap chem (and i assume that you also study hard for the ap chem exam). I have taken ap chemistry last year and a week before the exam, I only spent about 5-6 hrs. on a Saturday, reading only the relevant material for the sat ii subject tests in an AP chem textbook. And that is all I did. So, you don’t have to study like 6 hrs/day for a week, unless you want an 800.

800 yeahhhh
