For the painting…I put “it” as the error. There was no reference of a painting in the sentence.

It was Mr. Barthamelow’s interest in painting…not the painting…

For the painting…I put “it” as the error. There was no reference of a painting in the sentence.

I put C, because I thought that the second but clause would require a verb?
Not too sure about the bees one though

no error for bees and barthamelow

28 was “auditory” because “audible” is the correct word and #29 had a comparison error (c i think).

also 26 or 27 the answer was A (should have been “me” not “I”)

^ i agree with stix2400

It was something like…

Since I have known of(answer?) Mr. Bartholemew’s interest in the painting for a long time, that he constantly pursued it(answer?) still surprised me (no error)

It said “in the painting,” not just “in painting”
so I put no error…
I didn’t know if there was a mistake in “known of.”
is it idiomatic?

Ok anyone remember the question for 29?

Are you guys sure it wasn’t “just by?” The sentence was like: “Just by unplugging your cell phone charger, you can save energy.”

@1294739
it didn’t have a subject after “unplugging your cellphone charger”
it was just

“unplugging your cellphone charger can save energy”

the essay I thought was easy… I just talked about Human Rights and something I observed involving a pregnant teen.

Ok. Thanks. I just don’t remember what I put. Here’s hoping I put “Just.” And that I get a 11/12 essay.

Oh darn, I missed the question with auditory in it. I knew something was wrong but apparently my brain was so fuddled that I forgot it was audible.
I didn’t like the essay prompt, because the examples I prepared were down-to-earth and much too serious…I kind of left the conclusion hanging. Hrm. :/

I put just as well. Hoping for a 12 on essay and 800/750 writing.
@ nk9230: did you get the same essay as us? (Humor and situations)

I got both the automobile(hybrid) and the troubadour passages, not sure which one is experimental, hope it’s the troubadour one lol

@hudablossom

yeah, I did.

29 was about langston hughs

comparing his writing to someone else’s. It was C i think, a comparison error.

troubadour was a dummy, i think

Hmmm the Langston Hughes one…
where in the sentence was the error? Do you remember the word/phrase?

I though on the Bartholemew one it said Mr. Bartholemew’s interest in the painting for a long time, that he constantly pursued it still surprises me (should be still surprised me)

The error was that the writing was being compared to mark twain; it should have been compared to his writing.

^^ It was astonishes, but same thing. I put no error for Bartholomew…so was it the astonishment that had an error?
