OCTOBER 2009 Writing

I had 4, but one of them was the auditory one. I’m at -1 at that, and hopefully that’s it.

was the hummingbird one the one with “more than that of any other bird”

and was “auditory” experimental?

“Auditory” wasn’t experimental.

Is -3 usually 770? Or does it depend on essay?

what about the hummingbird one? what was the answer?

hmm didnt have time to count. i think i got 4 no errors?

********************* didnt get that auditory 1

I’m pretty sure that’s the correct answer.

FOR THOSE WHO HAD CR OR MATH EXPERIMENTAL SECTIONS>!!

For the writing improving paragraph section,

what was the paragraph about?? was it about desk or automobile??

Please reply!! Thanks

any1 who can think of any problem they did and wat they put would help a lot

i didnt finish my essay, had 2 body paragraphs, examples were short and simple= 6 ??

other than that the wrting section wasnt bad

Was it “for example” or “these include” hybrid cars, electric cars…etc

“these include” hybrid cars, electric cars…etc

These include
because these was referring to the “alternatives” mentioned in the previous sentence

It was “These include”

yea baby…

FOR THOSE WHO HAD CR OR MATH EXPERIMENTAL SECTIONS>!!

For the writing improving paragraph section,

what was the paragraph about?? was it about desk or automobile??

Please reply!! Thanks

Still, it was far from~~. or The hybrid, by contrast,~~

what was the answer for this??

Please reply!! Thanks

It was “Still, hybrids are far from…”

SAT2350: Automobiles was not experimental i think.

For the Sequoia trees, the correct answer was A, because collegeboard only uses “in which” after commas; in all other cases, collegeboard uses that so A is the correct answer

For some reason I got “For example” for the hybrid question

I went back to the passage it seemed as though “For example” was a better fit than “These include”

In practice, I usually missed 3 and got a 750+ (I gave myself an 11 essay score, because that is what I got in the Jan. SAT)
