omg that Jason question killllllleeedddd me

I put no error but Im 1% sure

what do other ppl think?

The Jason question is a little tricky. You wrote the question wrong…

Jason, one of only three friends, that write to me.

The key here is “write” which should be “writes”.

for the problem with the “we spent a lot of time making a robot to plan watever for science fair problem”

was it
A - plan on? or
B - plan to?

A sounded awkward, but i wasn’t sure if the only word that could follow “plan” was “on”

also, wat about the problem something in the fields of “there were many periods ~~”

is it “when” or “where”?

@thequestion mark

Im pretty sure there was a “is” in there

yeah the jason question shouldve been “writes” becuase it was something like

Only jason , (of all the 3 blah blah ), writes me ~~

writes indicates jason

Possibly, it doesn’t matter.

The grammatical error here was clear the “write” which should be in the singular “writes”.

Kib: It’s a period of time, so “when” should be correct. The first robot question was obvious for a different reason.

was that Jason one experimental?

thanks = ]

for ppl who didnt have an experimental writing section

do u remember the jason question?

jason is one of three friends who still write to me.

shouldn’t “who still write to me” be describing the three friends?

mabsj - it’s not experimental

the hummingbird questionnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn

i finished 13 questions in 3 minutes, i spent 7 minutes on the hummingbird question.

omg i want my 800 =[[[[[[[[[[

@itook - what did u put for that question?

Has anyone been able to figure out the Bartholomew one? The sentence was roughly: “Although I have known Bartholomew for years and his his interest in the painting, I was shocked to find that he would go to such lengths to obtain it.” It “it” vague?

i put “the most muscular compared to that of any bird”

“more muscular” would refer to a comparison between two things… that was my thought process

identifying sentence errors: Hiroko “recalled” was the error?

Was the question “Jason, only ______ , writeS _____”
experimental?

there was NO ERROR in bartholomew. “it” refers clearly to the painting–it’s obviously not his interest or anything. ambiguity of pronouns is only it’s undebatably ambiguous, i.e. “Though Anne and Mary wanted ice cream, only she got some.”

i put “the most muscular compared to that of any bird”

“more muscular” would refer to a comparison between two things… that was my thought process

i see wat ur getting at, but in this case you wouls say “more” rather than “most” since it says “bird” even though it is implied they are talking about more than 2 birds

Jason wasn’t experimental, I think. What did you guys put for the that goes like, "The committee that was set up…demands…

@bear
that’s what I thought first but I think it was comparing two things directly - hummingbird and the generic “bird”
