Cloud- I don’t remember the word icarus in there, it might have been in there, but Im not sure. But I was pretty sure the verbatim was just “Clementine photos”

I know…I just had a time crunch for that passage so I had to answer that question mad quick so now I’m not sure *** was in there

I just remember feeling fine for everything and then speeding through that last chunk D:

Haha, I actually did that 2nd so I did not really feel rushed.

I went 1,4,3,2

Did anyone else notice that the article was found?
[A Flash From the Past: New Evidence Supports Moon Blast - New York Times](A Flash From the Past: New Evidence Supports Moon Blast - The New York Times)
The ACT would be so much easier with CTRL+F :D

I’m rather certain that the answer was not the Icarus - that was the one Stuart posted his first thing in. Clementine was the first thing to happen, and Dr. Buratti was told by a colleague about Stuart’s work

Wait the first thing to happen was DIFFERENT FROM how Burrati got to know about the Dr.Stuarts finding?

WIN!! +1. xD

dare,

In Q1, “Q1: Which of the following did Professor B see first to convince her about Stuarts studies? (or something along that line),” there were two choices. One referred to embarking on the clementine mission, and the other said a colleague told her about it.

If you look at the linked passage, you can see that the answer is the former, as she went on the mission prior to hearing about Stuart’s discovery.

“At the Jet Propulsion Laboratory, Dr. Buratti served on the science team for the Clementine spacecraft, which thoroughly photographed the Moon in 1994. As part of that work, she and others had looked for evidence of transient phenomena like asteroid impacts and had found none. Just as they were preparing a paper on their research, a colleague mentioned what is known as Stuart’s event.”

^The colleague’s telling of Stuarts event was the first time Baratti came to know about it. NOT at the clementine.

“Just as they were preparing a paper on their research, a colleague mentioned what is known as Stuart’s event.”

Lol I was excited about the passage cause Stuart was from Oklahoma…

Guys why are you arguing about who told Dr. Brunatti about Stuart’s case? That wasn’t even a question. I am sure of it.

No it was definitely a question, actually, both labeled as Question 1 and Question 2 were questions.

I guarantee u it was not and you guarantee me it was. There’s really no way to prove who is right.
Let this bickering END!

Well, I find it quite odd how people on CC agree that question was on the exam. Of course, you can’t be implying that we ALL somehow made up the same exact question, now can you?

Who is “we” exactly? Like four people?
i didn’t know that it took four people to make a “consensus” on CC?

And you all DIDN’T make up the SAME Question. Someone made it up and you guys were all like “oh yeaaaa i remember that” lol

When there are 6-7 people replying on the thread, 4 is a considerable amount of people.

There is no way all 4 of us could have thought of EXACTLY the same question if the question was truly not on the answer. The probability of that happening is 0.00000000001

Maybe you’re right. I don’t remember that question AT ALL. Hope i got it right tho!

ok lol whatevs. ok ima get off cc now and eat something. ciao

wait im pretty sure the questions were:

Which of the following events happened first?
the choices were: colleague told Buratti about Stuart, Clementine mission occurred, magazine was published…I put the the Clementine mission occurred first.

What event/which of the following did Dr. Buratti use as proof for Stuart’s claim?
clementine photos

…right?

^oh i remember now…Maniteez has got it down perfectly!!!

The answer was definitely clementine photos.

The question did not ask who told Dr. B about the Stuart’s effect FIRST. It was asking what he used as PROOF for Stuart’s claim.
