THe thing we could not get why he was surprised or something

i’m pretty sure the passage indicated what time he got up

i thought we answered that because he goes on to explain he was alright w/ selling it cause it makes the customer rember the past…i think i might be confusing the piece now

For the junk one, what was the one about the customer’s offer of $125? The one about negotiation?

i put that the customer kind of misinterpreted him

Yeah, that the customer thought he was negotiating a price when the guy actually wasn’t

I thought it was the enthusiastic one because I reread it like 3x he said something along the lines of when he offered $125 my heart leaped, I suddenly could see that he was very interested and excited about the radio…

What about the one with the metaphor with the brain or something??

attic is the answer

It was the negotiating one. But Im really confident I got a 34 or 36 on the reading. I dont wanna jinx it but it seemed easier than the last time I took it, and I got a 34 on that one.

I put same answer as tothetop for the $125 question. Cuz I remembered it said something about being supported by the passage, and being enthusiastic was supported by the passage. And I thought memories was the answer.o.o I’m probably wrong cuz i kinda skimmed that one.

The reason I put loosely chronological is because at first it talks about minoans then said chinese were the first with roses

i thought he was enthusiastic because the customer that had bought it had a personal connection…
and on the same passage, was it he sometimes didnt know hoe much the items he had cost?

Yup esthetique, it said which one is supported by the passage. Yes, he was negotiating, but it didn’t specifically SAY that the boy wasn’t willing to negotiate because eventually he did-he gave in. BUT the passage DID say that he suddenly saw the enthusiasm in the buyer when he offered 125 dollars.

Yes, but it also didn’t say that the buyer was trying to hide the enthusiasm at all. In fact, it contrasted the customer’s behavior with the professional collectors and how they acted as if they had no interest at all.

No, it compared the buyer to other collectors by saying that he was trying to mask his enthusiasm, but the narrartor saw through it and realized he really wanted the radio. So it was the enthusiasm one.

no amyyy, he was saying that other collectors did that, but this guy did not. You didn’t read carefully enough, happened to me on another question

Are you sure? I checked it over and I could’ve sworn it was saying he could see that he could really see his enthusiasm. It makes me sense in the context of the passage, anyway. I mean they negotiated some but it was mostly about this guy offering a huge chunk of money to reclaim his childhood.

He was happy that the other guy bought the radio because he thought that the radio was beautiful. It was stated directly in the passage.

Ahh yeah that’s what I said. Was the enthusiasm one different? I can never remember what the answers are. But I said he was happy.
