October 2010 ACT Scores Thread

How many are first-timers like me?

Me…

I’m just hoping for above a 25 lol, going to be pretty upset if I get below that =</p>

First timer here.

I know I bombed math - now the question is, how badly?
Maybe I’ll sleep for a few hours and set my alarm for midnight.

tested!!! ahhhh i cant wait! last time they were out at 12am for me.

Good Luck everyone! Hope we all get the score we want (especially me :))

^^maybe i should break out the chill pills for you guys…
calm down and eat something tasty!

I just ate a 2’’ thick steak. How much tastier does it get?

I just had alotta pizza and chocolate chip cookies

nervous + pizza + cookes = bad combo

So do they actually release all/most of the scores shortly after midnight? Or is it usually spread out?

I think most people get them right at the specified time.

Like James1G, I’m hoping for 26+, really really hoping for 29+ but ugh. -_-; Need to face reality :(

I had hot pot for dinner
Guess I’ll be staying up till 1:30-2am to see my scores~

Haha, I was considering sleeping, setting my alarm for 1 AM and then looking. However… I’m afraid that if I see my scores and am upset by them, that I won’t be able to go back to sleep. Should I chance it?

This will be a waste of time for me. My proctor screwed up the times during the science section and it really threw me off. I won’t be surprised if my scores are 36, 36, 36, 19. I have to get a 33 for it to better than my SAT, and that’s not going to happen so this will just suck.

@eternaltorture, I’m in the same boat as you too. I really kind of just need a 27+, but a 29 would be amazing.

I’m mostly hoping that I don’t need to use this (applying Nov 15th ED to a college that doesn’t require ACT/SAT), but if I do then goddddd this better be a 31+…
It won’t be, but ugh.

@toppies

Yeah i’m setting my alarm for 1. I’m really nervous and probably wont be able to sleep until then anyway lmao

Oh well, I have no tests or anything important tomorrow so I might as well get up for it

Toppies I’ve been thinking about it all day and I’m pretty sure if you just stay sleeping you will know the scores just as fast as if you were to wake up at 1am because someone told me times goes by really fast when you’re asleep.

I know, right? :stuck_out_tongue: But really… I’m afraid that I’m not going to be able to fall asleep anyway because I’ll be too nervous. I have stuff going on tomorrow and only got 4 hours of sleep last night. It’s not a good predicament haha.

Yeah, I’d stay up if I didn’t have an AP phys test at 8am : (
