@SoccerRyan: Don’t worry man, people started to trickle in around the afternoon today. I was surprised this thread wasn’t getting spammed on, then I was like “guess a lot of people aren’t stressed about their ACT scores that early, lol.” That contrasts with the typical College Confidential atmosphere when scores are about to be released. =P

I don’t really know what to expect, first time taking the ACT I felt that the reading is way easier than the SAT, the english is bout the same although i was confused by the chopped up paragraphs took me the first 5 mins of the exam to figure out where the questions were pointing to haha. The math was easy, the science I felt was just interperting data so nothing hard there. I got a 1740 on the SAT so I really hope that I improve here and get a 30, 31, 32 thatd be a nice jump

@jscollins: Yeah, it was so frustrating to repeat the 31 three times. The 32 made me a little happier but still wasn’t quite a 33. I’ll just be happy when I reach 33

I’m betting that colleges want something a little more up to date haha. Well… I’ve been up for too long. I think that I’m going to head off to bed. I wish all of you luck!

PS. You guys are going to be horrified with my college list.
University of Missouri - Columbia is my top choice (Journalism, Photojournalism).
I visited it and don’t really want to apply anywhere else, except my teachers have already done recs and everything, so I think I might apply to Syracuse and Boston U also. Just because I need to feel the stress lol. I originally had 5 colleges on my list, but as soon as I saw Mizzou I wanted to drop all of them.

Hey everyone! I feel weirdly intrusive for popping in after creepin’ on the conversation for awhile. It was my first time taking it…The science section more than likely killed my chances of getting a good score, but oh well. I got a 2130 on the October SAT; does anyone know what ACT score would be comparable to that? Thanks!
