Good luck to us all!
Post anything you want to here.

How was the test? I thought it was ok overall… but there were a few really strange eco questions

hi!
just came back from sat ii Chem, Math 2, and BIO
arghh
how did everyone do on Bio?
I thought it was quite difficult…
especially the ecology section had some strange questions…

I didn’t take Bio so…

I took Bio (E). I think it was pathetic. I ain’t sure though :/

I immediately turned to Molecular after flipping through Ecology.
Those diagrams told me to move on.
Didn’t leave any blanks, but some things were rather iffy.

was the molecular easier than ecology??
i think sat ii biology was hard this time…
what do you think the curve will be??

Well, it looked easier. I didn’t have enough time to really read through.
That was my first Bio test, so…

sk8ergirl001: pathetic as in too easy?? or in another sense??

I answered 12 questions of Ecology, then I hit “which two scientists blahblahblah…” O.O
then flipped to Molecular and answered the first 8 questions in a minute lol

hmm you can’t do that right? answer 20 questions from both sections…
arghh
i got stuck in that stupid experiment as well
it wasn’t in any of the books i read (barron’s, kaplan, princetons review, sparknotes…)
ahhh i hope the curve is lenient this time…
it was so freaking hard!

@babyrummy

sorry i worded that badly lol. the ecology was so hard, i flipped to molecular and did the whole thing (and erased ecology). the fact that the first 8 questions were really easy just made it awesomer

LOL . i’m glad i’m not the only one that flipped straight to molecular once I skimmed through the Ecology section. haha, i saw the E section and I was like “O.O this is hard” and usually I do Ecology because it’s super easy…

haha, I hope there’s a good curve

Everything was good/decent. The last lab section on E/M section was kinda shaky tho. Otherwise, I give it a thumb up. The molecular section was kinda easy. I breezed through it. If I don’t make any silly mistakes, I hope I make 750+. Fingers crossed for a good curve.

any hard questions people wanna discuss?

what was the answer to what would grow one year after a fire destroyed a redwood forest?

I don’t know if I wanna discuss specific questions lol, the College Board may be after me. Apparently, my neighbor works for Collegeboard…

wasn’t it lichen and mosses???
ah damn…now i’m regretting…
should have jumped to M section…
i just went on with the E section and guessed several questions
is there a different curve for E and M??

yes, there’s a different curve, but they are extremely similar. It’s usually only different by 10 points or so (e.g. the difference between a 720 and 730). some people say the ecology scale is a little higher, which may or may not be true for every test.

oh okay…ahhhhh i need more than 10 points :(

^ huh I thought it was that the Ecology curve was harsher, since (usually) it’s pretty easier. BUT, this time, I thought the E section was more difficult than the M section …
