HELLO :)
how did everyone do with Chemistry ??
what do you think the curve will be???

I thought it was okay hehe
maybe the curve will be lenient! (mueh)
I like the name “babyrummy” cause that’s me!

same boat…shark

Hi there…
Chemistry for the most part was smooth sailing, i have to say… Barring a couple of awkward questions, the paper was pretty straightforward, including the Assertion-Reasoning part, thankfully enough. And Lord bless the CEEB for keeping calculations to a minimum !!! Anyway, I certainly don’t wish to count my chickens too soon…780+…hopefully…

wow…i guess not many people took sat ii chem…
only 2 people responded :(

I took it today. I found it very reasonable. But the first 15 or so questions were annoying.

agree.
wut do you think the curve will be?
to get a 700…how many wrong?

I took it and thought it wasn’t too bad considering i took chemistry last year. the first 20 questions were actually a positive for me probably because we did SO many labs.

Well according to Kaplan’s conversion table for 2010 it said 53/85 raw score =700.

really?? 22 wrong = 700
wow!..hope it’s the same for this one :S

Didn’t think it was too bad…I think I have a decent chance at an 800.

I left one blank, although surprisingly I found the test more difficult than the Barron’s ones. I wasn’t sure about like 8 of them (like ~4 on the CHEMISTRY section) but looking back I think I got around half of those right. I’m hoping I got a raw score of around 80, and in the high 700s/800.

I skipped a couple like about…6-7?

when does the embargo thing lift on discussing questions?

I think, never. ^^^

wait, the embargo thing is never going to be lifted? :(

It will in like a day or so…but yea, that wasn’t as bad as it could’ve, though the memory-questions (usually the easiest) were annoying. Ie: the color of copper sulfate (blue I think) and the allotrope vs. isomer vs. isotope gahhh!

Is potassium purple?

Is H3O+ the most common ion in H3SO4 + H2O? Or is it H2SO4-?

What is the electron configuration with 4 unpaired electrons? I couldn’t find it out of the answer choices :(

hopefully i get the score i desired!
when can we start discussing qs?

was the answer to that one isomer or allotrope?
